Connect ChatGPT through secure OpenAI device authorization or bring a supported provider API key, then connect Telegram from integrations for notifications and review prompts.
Create or revoke CLI API keys from authenticated dashboard settings. Then use the CLI quick start and trading-boy <command> --help.
Email support@tradingboy.ai with the account email, command used, and exact error text. Do not send full API keys.
Start by identifying whether the problem is in the browser dashboard, an external connection, or the local CLI. The dashboard and CLI use one account, but they use different sign-in credentials.
| Area | What to check first | Useful link |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard sign-in | Confirm the account email, request a fresh single-use link, and consume it in the same browser session that requested it. | Open dashboard |
| Dashboard onboarding | Check the LLM connection, selected persona, paper-trading guardrails, and agent-creation step. | Dashboard quick start |
| Existing CLI account | Use the claim flow to verify the historical email and API-key ownership or complete recovery. Normal signup does not merge accounts. | Claim account |
| LLM connection | Confirm whether you selected secure OpenAI device authorization or a supported provider API key and review the connection status in dashboard settings. | LLM settings |
| Telegram connection | Confirm the dashboard integration step, chat context, and that notifications are review prompts rather than trade signals. | Telegram paper-trading alerts |
| CLI login | Confirm the revocable API key created in dashboard settings, the account email, and whether the command can reach the API. | CLI quick start |
| Billing or usage | Review the authenticated billing and usage pages; never send payment credentials in a support request. | Billing settings |
| Paper agent setup | Check the selected persona, rules, risk limits, and whether the agent is configured for simulated paper trading. | AI paper-trading agent |
| Journal or review output | Include the paper trade, review command, expected output, and whether the issue affects pre-trade or post-trade review. | AI trading journal |
Support cannot recommend trades, validate a strategy as profitable, recover exchange credentials, or ask you to send private keys. Trading Boy support focuses on the paper-trading product, account access, and workflow reliability.
Trading Boy support will not ask for your full API key, exchange credentials, seed phrase, or private wallet keys. If a request looks suspicious, use the contact page or the security page before replying.
